  • The new uniform can start being worn in Term 1, 2024. It will be available to purchase in the Uniform Shop from Term 4 this year.

Please note that we will be in a uniform transition period from 2024-2026 (inclusive), during which both old and new uniform items will be acceptable, so there is no rush to change immediately.

  • Prices are still being confirmed, and will be published as soon as they are finalised.

  • The new uniform was selected based on comfort, convenience and price by the Belair P&C Association Uniform Sub-Committee. The decision was made to change the uniform to support more active lifestyles for our students, following consultation with parents through a survey in 2022. Parents were also invited to participate in the sub-committee.

  • A timeline of the changeover was provided in the school newsletter last week. Unfortunately, we have experienced delays with suppliers and the following timeline has been updated:

    • mid-June 2023 - Artwork images available for the school community to see

    • early July 2023 - Product samples available in the Uniform Shop for sizing

    • from July 2023 - Orders will be available on Flexischool

    • Term 1, 2024 - New uniform transition begins

  • The items will be purchased from the Belair Public School Uniform Shop on-site at school. Items will be available for order through the Flexischools app.

  • Yes, and we are really excited to offer an environmentally friendly uniform. Hemp has been chosen as it is:

    • More sustainable than other fabrics, using less water and land than cotton

    • Highly durable

    • Breathable and antimicrobial.

  • Yes, girls can choose between the black shorts, pants or green skort.

  • We will have the skort option available.

  • Black tights can be worn with the skort.

  • Pre-orders are open from 9am Monday, 24 July until Monday 7 August. Pre-orders require payment in full, and will be delivered later in the year.

If you choose not to order during the pre-order period, you will be able to purchase the new uniform items from the uniform shop in 2024.

Please note we cannot guarantee the availability of all new items for the start of 2024. If you want your child to wear the new uniform, presale is your best bet.
